I’m Hacked, Now What?
With new technologies changing all the time, the Internet can be overwhelming. No matter how safe you try to be, sooner or later you may be unfortunate enough to get hacked. The sooner you detect something bad has happened, and the faster you respond, the more you can minimize the impact. Phishing Campaign Updates
EIS Cyber Security Services provides a category of Security and Awareness Training services to all Executive Branch agencies. Included in this category are Monthly Phishing Campaigns which simulate phishing emails to empower the state’s workforce to adopt good security habits. There are several updates to this service for 2024-25 including access to a Learner and Team Dashboard.

PPM Dashboard
EIS publishes an IT Project Summaries dashboard, designed to provide insight and information to agencies and the public about current projects under Project Portfolio Performance oversight in line with the Statewide Information Technology Investment Oversight Policy. The data presented on these dashboards is obtained directly from each listed agency. Questions about projects within this dataset are best directed to the agency managing the project.

EIS Agile Oversight
EIS has begun work to re-define oversight engagement for Agile and hybrid initiatives, conducting Agile pilots with agency partners, and working with the Oregon Project Management Advisory Board to convene an Agile Community of Practice.
EIS Agile commitments are people-first, aligned and enabled, and continuous improvement.

State Cyber Command Seal Introduced
The State Cyber Command seal represents the mission-oriented work of Cyber Security Services (CSS) and recognizes CSS as part of EIS.
The new seal is intended to help interested parties more easily identify information, materials, and communications originating from EIS CSS.

Task Force on Artificial Intelligence
House Bill 4153 (2024) established the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence. The State Chief Information Officer or his designee shall serve as a member of the Task Force which shall examine and identify terms and definitions related to artificial intelligence that are used in technology-related fields and may be used for legislation.
