Dear CCB contractor:
Your general liability insurance certificate on file at CCB is going to expire soon! In order to avoid suspension of your license, please take steps today to provide CCB with updated proof of insurance.
Is there a way to expedite the process?
YES! E-proof is CCB’s online portal that allows insurance agents to submit proof of insurance electronically. Documents submitted through E-proof are typically processed in 1-3 business days.
If your agent isn’t signed up for E-proof, encourage them to do so! Forward this email to your agent and encourage them to use E-proof. Here’s a link to the E-proof application: https://www.oregon.gov/ccb/Pages/Licensing.aspx#InsuranceAndBondResources.
What if you don’t have time for your insurance agent to sign up for E-proof?
You or your insurance agent can email an updated GENERAL LIABILITY CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE to the CCB at ccb.info@ccb.oregon.gov, with your license number in the subject line.
Tips:
- Do NOT send the declaration pages or copies of the policy. These pages will NOT be accepted as proof of insurance coverage.
- Construction Contractors Board must be the Certificate Holder.
- Insurance agency information section must be complete, including the phone number.
- Name of Insured must read exactly as you’re licensed with CCB.
