Two years ago, the Construction Contractors Board posted the Buyer Beware page to warn consumers about phony or predatory contractors.
The Buyer Beware page is a list of unlicensed contractors who take money and produce little or no work, and who violate state contracting laws. On this page, you’ll see information like:
- Contractor name and pictures
- Amount owed
- Description of violations
- Areas worked
This page is regularly updated with information about the CCB’s biggest unlicensed contractor offenders. Take a look before getting started on your next home improvement!
