9/23/26 Update - Independence State Airport PAPI Replacement Project - Runway Reopened

The runway at Independence State Airport has reopened.
The new PAPI’s have been installed but we’ve ran into an issue with equipment. While we are working out a resolution to the equipment issue we are reopening the runway and will share the schedule to complete the project at a later date.
