Update - Condon Closure for Markings Beginning 8/17
Oregon Department of Aviation sent this bulletin at 08/14/2026 09:11 AM PDTUpdate - Surfaces will be closed at the Condon State Airport for airfield painting beginning Monday August 17th.
The final coat of markings as part of the recent Taxiway, Taxilane, and Apron Surface Seal Project will be applied on the 17th.
Staff will refresh markings on the runway, Taxiway Alpha, and Taxiway Bravo on the 19th and 20th.

Surface Closures and Project Phasing:
The taxiways, taxilane, and aprons will all be closed on the 17th in a single phase.
The taxiways and runway will be closed on the 19th and 20th as NOTAMed.
Important Operating Information
(!) The runway will remain open on 8/17 though there will be no access to hangars or the parking aprons.
(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport.
(!!!) As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.
