The Oregon Department of Aviation (ODAV) is pleased to announce the opening of the Critical Oregon Airport Relief (COAR) Grant Cycle 11 (2026-2027) application process from October 12, 2026, through October 30, 2026.

Applicants considering applying for Priority III should consider the following:

Due to the quantity of competitive applications and available funding, a strong focus should be given to ‘shovel ready’ infrastructure projects preserving and protecting existing infrastructure. Projects including pavement, weather systems, large infrastructure maintenance and existing fuel are likely to be weighed more heavily than non-infrastructure or new development projects including new utilities, equipment purchases, and marketing.

COAR Q&A Session

COAR Program Coordinators will hold a Q&A Session virtually by TEAMS on October 13, 2026. This session is to provide a time for COAR applicants or other interested parties to ask questions regarding the COAR grant application or COAR grant administration. Additional information including a link to the session will be posted on the ODAV website here: Critical Oregon Airport Relief (COAR).

OAMA Schedule

The OAMA conference is being held October 7-9, 2026, in Pendleton, Oregon. ODAV staff will be available to answer questions about the COAR program as needed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to COAR Program Coordinators at Grants@ODAV.Oregon.gov.
