Surface Closures and Project Phasing:

The runway, hangar taxilanes, and tiedown apron are expected to be closed for up to 6 days between 2 work areas.

The work areas are designed to keep closure impacts to a minimum. We will reopen each surface as quickly as possible.

Project Schedule:

  • Project start - Monday August 10th
    • Runway and tiedown apron Closed
      • 7am Monday August 10th - 8pm Friday August 14th
    • Hangar taxilanes Closed
      • 7am Monday August 10th - 8pm Saturday August 15th
    • Substantial Completion - 8pm Saturday August 15th

Important Operating Information

(!) When the runway is closed, fixed wing aircraft will not be able to arrive or depart at Mulino until the runway reopens. The runway may reopen while work is being done on the taxilanes and apron. Access to fuel, tie-down parking, and hangars may be restricted depending on taxilane and apron closures.

(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport.

(!!!) As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.

We will work to keep construction impacts to a minimum and reopen surfaces as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience while we maintain the Mulino State Airport.
