Update - Mulino State Airport Runway, Taxilane, and Apron Surface Seal Project Starting August 10th
Oregon Department of Aviation sent this bulletin at 07/21/2026 07:17 AM PDT7/21/2026 Update - The Mulino State Airport Runway, Taxilane, and Apron Surface Seal Project will begin August 10th, 2026.
This project will include crack seal, pavement patching, surface seal, and new pavement markings on the runway, hangar taxilanes, and main apron.

The runway, taxilanes, and apron are expected to be closed for up to 6 days between 2 work areas.
We will share project start dates and phasing as soon as that information is available.
Important Operating Information
(!) When the runway is closed, fixed wing aircraft will not be able to arrive or depart at Mulino until the runway reopens. The runway may reopen while work is being done on the taxilanes and apron. Access to fuel, tie-down parking, and hangars may be restricted depending on taxilane and apron closures.
(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport.
(!!!) As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.
We will work to keep construction impacts to a minimum and reopen surfaces as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience while we maintain the Mulino State Airport.
