The Oregon Department of Aviation has filed a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that establishes civil penalties for Vehicle and Pedestrian Deviations at the Aurora State Airport (UAO). The Notice is linked at the bottom of this outreach.

This proposed rulemaking makes permanent the temporary rules that have been in effect since February 5th, 2026.

A Rulemaking Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet Tuesday July 7th at 10am pacific time to review the proposed permanent rules and engage in discussion. The public is welcome to attend the RAC meeting, but participation will be limited to RAC members.

A Public Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday July 15th at 3pm pacific time, and the public is welcome to provide comments in that meeting.
