Update - Chiloquin Runway and West Apron Surface Seal Project Starting July 20th, 2026
Oregon Department of Aviation sent this bulletin at 06/23/2026 09:59 AM PDT6/23/2026 Update - The Chiloquin State Airport Runway and West Apron Surface Seal Project will begin July 20th, 2026.
This project will include crack seal, pavement patching, surface seal, and new pavement markings on the runway and turn-arounds, as well as the west apron and taxiway connector.

Surface Closures and Project Phasing
The runway and west apron are expected to be closed for 6 days.
This project is being completed in one phase to get all of the work done as quickly as possible.
Project Schedule:
- Project start - Monday July 20th
- Project completion - Saturday July 25th
Important Operating Information
(!) When the runway is closed, fixed wing aircraft will not be able to arrive or depart at Chiloquin until the runway reopens. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from the east hangar taxilanes.
(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures.
(!!!) As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.
