Fire season is starting early this year. Helicopters are already being staged at the Chiloquin State Airport and McKenzie Bridge State Airport (pictured).

We’ve closed the McKenzie Bridge State Airport except for firefighting aircraft until July 8th.

Closures may be extended, end early, or be issued via NOTAM without other notice.

As summer flying activities ramp up, ODAV encourages pilots to check NOTAMs for the latest closure and other pertinent airport information.
