Notice - Mulino State Airport - Waterline and Hangar Construction Project Starting Soon!
Oregon Department of Aviation sent this bulletin at 05/13/2026 02:28 PM PDT
The Mulino State Airport (4S9) Waterline and Hangar Construction projects will be starting early summer 2026.
These projects will improve water access for fire suppression and allow aeronautical development at the airport. It will also construct a new multi-unit T Hangar building for additional aircraft storage.
Project/Closure Schedule:
- The waterline project will be completed first, followed by the hangar construction
- Both projects will have minimal impacts to aircraft operations, though some hangars may have limited access during hangar construction.
- Construction start dates and any surface impacts will be shared in a future update.

(!) For the most current updates on field conditions and surface closures throughout this project, please check the latest NOTAMs.
(!!) As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas. This includes aircraft, vehicles, and pedestrians.
