Update - Cottage Grove Runway, Taxiway, and Apron Closure 6/03/2026

Update - The Cottage Grove State Airport Runway, Taxiway, and Main Apron closure for final markings application is scheduled for Wednesday June 3rd.

This work was originally planned for the fall of 2025, but it was delayed due to weather. Because this work is weather dependent, it may be rescheduled again if necessary.

Final Markings application will complete the surface seal and apron reconstruction projects which were substantially completed in September and October 2025.

The runway, taxiway, and main apron will be closed from 8am to 6pm Wednesday June 3rd. 

We will work to keep the closure as short as possible, and reopen surfaces as soon as they are finished.

Important Operating Information

(!) When the runway is closed, fixed wing aircraft will not be able to arrive or depart at Cottage Grove until the runway reopens. The runway may reopen while work is being done on the taxiways. Back-taxi may be required depending on taxiway closures. 

(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport.

(!!!)As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.

(!!!!) Fuel will not be available when the apron is closed.
