Aurora State Airport (UAO) Airport Users, Operators and Stakeholders,

Runway incursions remain a serious concern nationally. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve surface safety at UAO, SERCO, the FAA, and the Oregon Department of Aviation invite you to participate in this year’s Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) meeting.

 Meeting Details:

  • Date: March 11, 2026
  • Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (local time)
  • Location: Willamette Aviation Education Hangar  (23115 Airport Rd NE, Aurora, OR 97002)

Note: In-person attendance may be limited due to space, so early RSVP is encouraged.

Purpose:

This meeting unites individuals and organizations involved in air traffic operations and the movement of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment on the Airport Operations Area (AOA). Participants will:

  • Discuss current surface safety concerns and trends
  • Develop actionable recommendations to reduce runway incursions
  • Contribute to the site-specific Aurora State Runway Safety Action Plan
