Update - Cottage Grove State Airport Apron Closure 10/28
Oregon Department of Aviation sent this bulletin at 10/27/2025 05:17 PM PDT
Update - The Cottage Grove State Airport Apron will be closed in 2 phases for final markings application Tuesday October 28th.
Starting 11am pacific time, the south half of the apron (Phase 1) will close. When work in that area is completed, the north half (Phase 2) will close.
Final Markings application will complete the Apron Reconstruction project which was substantially completed in October.
(!) During each phase of these closures, some fixed wing aircraft may not be able to arrive or depart at Cottage Grove until the apron reopens.
(!!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport. As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.
