Update - Aurora State Airport Runway Reopened

Update - The runway at the Aurora State Airport has reopened.

The runway has been fully repaved to repair extensive cracking and surface delamination, as well as correct non-standard grading of the crown. The grooves have now been cut, which improves drainage and braking in wet conditions. The difference can be seen below.

Reminder - The runway will need be closed for one additional day for final markings application. This closure will be scheduled at a later date.
