Update - Mulino State Airport (5S4) - Taxiway Closure for Pavement Maintenance 10/17

Update- The work previously scheduled for 10/13 and 10/14 was postponed. This work is now rescheduled for Friday October 17th.

The Oregon Department of Aviation's Pavement Maintenance Program (PMP), which has recently completed asphalt patching and joint repairs, will be performing additional pavement work at the Mulino State Airport (4S9) Friday October 17th.

This work will include joint repair and crack seal on the parallel taxiway.

The Schedule:

  • 7am to 7pm* Friday October 17th - Half of the parallel taxiway will be closed
    • Work will begin on the south half of the taxiway, and then the closure will transition to the north half.

 *Reopening and phase switch times are subject to change.

We will reopen the taxiway and taxilanes as soon as this work is finished. 

(!) Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures.

(!!) Back taxi on the runway may be required to/from the runway, please use caution for congestion while the taxiway is partially closed.

(!!!) Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport. As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.
