The Oregon Department of Aviation will be refreshing airfield markings at the Joseph State Airport (JSY) Tuesday July 8th. Staff will be working on the runway, taxiways, and apron.

JSY

The runway and taxiways will be closed at JSY beginning 5:30am Tuesday July 8th for painting.

(!) We will reopen the runway as soon as this work is finished. Work may continue on the apron after the runway is reopened. Please check NOTAMs for closure times and the most current airport surface closures. Helicopters may arrive or depart directly to/from open areas of the airport. As always, please remain outside of, and avoid low flight over closed work areas.

Staff will also be mowing the airfield on Wednesday July 9th in preparation for the Wallowa County Fly-In. Please use caution for Work In Progress around the airfield.

Thank you for your patience while we maintain the Joseph State Airport.
