Now Open: 2024 Oklahoma Governor's Water Conference Registration & Water for 2060 Excellence Award Nominations

Registration is now open for the annual Oklahoma Governor's Water Conference and Research Symposium, a collaboration between the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and the Oklahoma Water Resources Center. The event attracts hundreds of water officials, researchers, and others who share an avid interest in Oklahoma's water resources management, development, and protection. Current water issues, policies, and research are discussed by state, federal, and local experts. The Student Research Water Poster Competition, held concurrently, offers students from any institution of higher learning in Oklahoma the opportunity to share research or extension/outreach topics related to water resources in Oklahoma.
Water for 2060 Excellence Award Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open for the Water for 2060 Excellence Awards. The award program was developed to recognize exceptional contributions to the promotion and implementation of water use efficiency and conservation of Oklahoma’s fresh water resources as recommended by a special advisory council to the Governor and Legislature after the passage of Oklahoma's historic Water for 2060 Act in 2012.
Nominate a project for a Water for 2060 Excellence Award by 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2024.
