Introduction to the Community Rating System (CRS) Program 2-day Workshop

CRS is a voluntary incentive program that recognizes, encourages, and rewards community floodplain management practices that exceed the minimum requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).  The rewards come as insurance discounts for their residents.

The 2-day workshop is an abbreviated version of the 4-day EMI class.  The workshop covers all the activities, prerequisites, and scoring.  The workshop has been approved for 12 CECs, but the students must attend both days.  The students will receive a certificate, but this is not an EMI course.
