In 2015 a pilot project to map water, wastewater, stormwater and water reuse infrastructure for small cities and rural water systems was launched.

This FREE SERVICE is available to systems with:

• populations of 3,300 or under
• under 1,100 taps
• a current or prior Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) or Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) loan with OWRB

Final Mapping Product Detail

Through a partnership between OWRB & OU's Center for Spatial Analysis (CSA), an electronic version of a system's existing infrastructure is created using the Geographic Information System (GIS).

• Information is secure and maintained at the OU weather center requiring a system specific log-in and password to access
• Customized training is provided on map usage
• Maps may be accessed from desktop, laptop, and/or mobile devices
• Mapping features include the ability of an Entity to 'edit' and customize their system's information and update for system improvements
• 'Street View' is used for ease of locating areas of work
• GIS based format allows access from any internet accessible location
• Wall maps provided by OWRB
