One of the greatest investments we can make as an agency is investing in our people.
This September, we are excited to launch two new leadership development programs designed to strengthen leadership across Service Oklahoma and invest in both our current and future leaders.
RISE is designed for supervisors and will focus on building foundational leadership skills, including communication, trust, accountability, team culture and leading through change.
DRIVE is designed for managers and will focus on strengthening leadership influence, strategic thinking, employee development and aligning teams around shared goals.
Participants will engage in monthly in-person workshops, practical leadership exercises, peer learning and online development opportunities that can be immediately applied within their teams. The programs will begin in September and conclude with a graduation celebration in February.
Because these programs are designed to provide a meaningful and impactful development experience, participation will be limited and participants will be expected to commit to attending each session and actively engage throughout the program.
 Directors will soon share eligibility requirements and instructions for expressing interest. Employees who are eligible should submit their interest by the end of July.
Strong leadership has an impact far beyond any one person or team. It shapes our culture, strengthens the way we serve Oklahomans and helps prepare our agency for the future. We know our greatest strength has always been our people, and RISE and DRIVE represent another investment in helping our leaders continue to grow, inspire those around them and make an even greater impact.
We are excited to launch RISE and DRIVE and look forward to seeing the positive impact these programs will have—not only on the participants, but on their teams, our agency and the people we serve every day.
