We’re excited to share an important update about the future of Service Oklahoma’s headquarters.
The Oklahoma State Legislature has approved Service Oklahoma’s purchase of our headquarters building on the former Chesapeake, now Expand, campus. This gives our agency a permanent home in the space that has anchored our work since Service Oklahoma first opened its doors.
We know there have been questions over the past year as ownership of portions of the campus changed, including our building being sold to Robinson Park. For employees who work from headquarters or visit the OKC Classen location, that uncertainty understandably raised questions about what the future might look like for our agency’s presence here.
This approval provides clarity and stability. It ensures Service Oklahoma can continue operating from a location that supports both our headquarters functions and one of our busiest customer service locations, while also strengthening the foundation for the work happening across all of our offices statewide.
While this announcement is about our headquarters building, the investment is bigger than one location. It reflects a long-term commitment to Service Oklahoma’s employees, our customers and the continued stability and momentum of an agency built to serve Oklahomans in communities across the state.
Thank you for the work each of you do every day, whether you serve customers in one of our offices, support operations behind the scenes or help lead the work that keeps Service Oklahoma moving forward. This is an exciting next chapter for our agency, and we’re grateful we get to continue building it together.
