Wednesday, April 22, marks National Go Orange Day, part of National Work Zone Safety Week, and Service Oklahoma is proud to bring awareness to the importance of driving safely in work zones!
We encourage everyone to wear orange, work-appropriate attire next Wednesday. We're also providing custom stickers for staff to wear as a simple way to show support for safer roads and remind others how important it is to stay alert behind the wheel. Awareness stickers will be provided by the Employee Engagement Committee.
Service Oklahoma is committed to helping shape safe driving habits. Did you know teens in Oklahoma are required to complete the Oklahoma Work Zone Safe Course before receiving an intermediate license? This course helps new drivers recognize work zone risks and teaches them how to safely navigate active work zones.
Proudly wear your sticker, and your orange, as a visible reminder that work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility. Your dedication to this great cause can help protect the lives of those we share the road with, from road workers to law enforcement.
