We want to take a moment to say thank you.
When Service Oklahoma was created in 2022, we were given a clear mission: make driver license and motor vehicle services simpler, faster and more secure for all Oklahomans. Last week, we took the biggest step yet toward delivering on that promise.
We brought every system offline over Presidents' Day weekend and launched an entirely new service platform. But you already know this; you’re the ones who made it happen.
We asked you to spend months learning a completely new system, new processes, new tools, new ways of doing work you've done for years.
This was no small task and you rose to the occasion.
Early last week, locations across the state reopened their doors. You helped customers, you solved problems in real time and you did it while getting comfortable with the system yourselves.
A transition of this scale doesn’t go perfectly. What we will tell you is that every issue you raise gets attention. Your feedback is how we make this system work. Not eventually, but right now, every single day.
Keep it coming.
We built Project BOOST so that Service Oklahoma can deliver something better for Oklahomans. But the system doesn't deliver. You do.
Thank you for your preparation. Thank you for your patience. And thank you for showing up when it mattered most.
Also, we wanted to share a short video with you reflecting on this milestone and what it represents for our agency. In it, we share a few thoughts on the journey to this moment, what go-live means for Service Oklahoma, and why your work matters so much to the people we serve. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch it.
