Tomorrow, Service Oklahoma locations will close to the public as we begin essential system cutover activities in preparation for BOOST go-live.
Employees should report as normal as we make final preparations for this milestone.
The temporary public closure allows teams across Service Oklahoma and FAST to focus on the critical work required to complete the transition. Over the next several days, staff will be working continuously to ensure a secure, accurate and seamless launch of our new system of record.
What’s Happening During Cutover While offices close tomorrow, significant behind-the-scenes work is already underway and will continue through the weekend. Teams are:
- Migrating and validating data
- Finalizing integrations across driver license and motor vehicle services
- Testing environments and confirming access roles
- Conducting system readiness and security checks
- Running final operational checkpoints
This work protects customer information, ensures accuracy and positions us for a confident launch on Feb. 17.
Go-Live Coordination Is in Motion At the same time, teams are preparing for deployment and day-one support. Over the next few days, you’ll see:
- Equipment deployment and hardware delivery coordination
- Power User final preparation meetings
- Triage team meetings
- Licensed Operator Town Halls
- Cashiering sandbox training for DLEs
- Real-time communications coordination
- Development and distribution of rapid response training resources as needed
There is a great deal happening at once and every piece of it is important for a successful go-live.
Camp BOOST: Focused Work With a Little Fun In addition to cutover and go-live preparations, supervisors may assign structured tasks such as inventory, restocking or workstation setup.
Here’s what you can expect during Camp BOOST:
- Dress casually, for example jeans and an SOK T-shirt. If you have questions about appropriate attire, please refer to the Dress Code Policy.
- Surprise snacks delivered to your location
- Regular go-live progress updates
- Time to participate in the optional PARTNer Pause Workday Program developed by our training team and centered on our core values, including:
- Meet Your PARTNer: Wally Watt!
- What's Your PARTNer Energy? (Quiz)
- Vibe Check (Survey)
- Wally Watt's Workplace Moment
We hope you’ll take a moment to connect with your team and recognize the significance of what you are accomplishing together.
If you capture photos during Camp BOOST, please send them to SOKCommunications@service.ok.gov so we can feature them in future communications.
It takes coordination, trust and teamwork to execute a transition of this size. Thank you for the preparation, flexibility and professionalism you continue to demonstrate.
We are almost there and we look forward to celebrating you and a successful BOOST launch.
