Thank You!
From data purification to end-to-end testing, we’ve accomplished an incredible amount in the past month and that’s worth celebrating.
Together we’ve:
Completed testing using real data converted from D360. Recently, we marked a major milestone with the completion of this testing, which allowed teams to walk through real-life scenarios in BOOST, validate system behavior and ensure the system is performing as expected to support both customers and staff.
Merged every duplicate customer file. Alongside reconciliation and data purification efforts, teams successfully merged every duplicate customer file, strengthening data integrity and ensuring a more accurate, streamlined customer record in BOOST.
Learned about nearly 40 Gear Shifts. Gear Shifts are new process changes that will take effect with BOOST’s launch and reflect improvements designed to modernize how we serve customers. These updates are shaped by best practices and standards, customer feedback and employee input. A full list of Gear Shifts is available on the intranet. Examples include the removal of finger printing during issuance and the elimination of printed DL10 forms, both of which streamline processes and reduce unnecessary steps for staff and customers.
Complete Your Training Today
If you have not completed your assigned training already, please do so as soon as possible. The Application training tier will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 in preparation for go-live. This tier gives you hands-on experience to explore the system, run test transactions and practice key tasks so you feel confident and prepared on day one.
Modules are designed to build on one another, so earlier training must be completed before moving forward. Finishing all assigned training on time is essential to ensuring readiness for launch. Thank you to everyone who has already completed their training. Your effort is helping set the stage for a smooth go-live.
What's to Come
We’re modernizing the way customers interact with our services through Navigate. OkCARS and SOK Online are transitioning to a mobile-friendly platform designed to serve as a one-stop shop for online services. From driver license renewals to vehicle registrations, Navigate simplifies digital transactions and reflects our commitment to making government services easier to access and more convenient for customers. The partner-facing side of the platform, Navigate for Business, will support our partners, including third party examiners, designated examiners, dealers, lien holders and more. Training is currently underway and targeted communications are in development to ensure partners are prepared for launch.
A Hard Code Freeze Is Scheduled for Jan. 30. After this date, no further changes will be made to the system as teams finalize preparations for go-live, ensuring stability and consistency heading into launch. A soft code freeze took place on Jan. 16, marking the point at which the system was considered largely complete and only critical updates were permitted moving forward. This milestone signaled the transition from planning and testing into final go-live readiness.
Service Oklahoma locations will temporarily close Feb. 12 through Feb. 16 as we transition to BOOST. OkCARS transactions involving payments will be unavailable beginning Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., with additional services going offline Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. during system updates. While offices will be closed to the public, staff will continue reporting to work to support transition activities and launch preparation. During this time, Camp BOOST will serve as a focused go-live support environment for teams.
