Welcome to Volume 1, Issue 4 of the BOOST Bulletin: a place for bite-sized BOOST updates. We are officially less than 30 days away from the launch of BOOST (Bringing Our Operations and Services Together), and a lot is happening across the agency and the state as we prepare for go-live.
System Testing, Readiness and Code Freeze Last week marked a major milestone with the completion of testing using real data converted from D360. This testing allowed teams to walk through real-life scenarios in BOOST, validate system behavior and ensure the system is performing as expected to support both customers and staff.
At the same time, extensive behind-the-scenes work was completed to support system accuracy and readiness, including reconciliation and data purification. These efforts help ensure a strong and stable system at go-live.
As of last Friday, BOOST has entered a soft code freeze. This means the system is largely complete, with only critical updates being made as we finalize preparations for launch. This milestone signals our transition from planning and testing into final go-live readiness.
Customer Communications We’ve also completed comprehensive testing of customer correspondence. Every letter, email and in-store customer communication generated by BOOST was reviewed and validated to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Go-Live Support Preparation In preparation for go-live, the FAST training team held meetings with the Triage Team and Power Users to answer questions and ensure teams feel prepared heading into launch.
The Triage Team, made up of staff from across the agency, will serve as the front line of support for licensed operators at go-live. With two dedicated lines, one for Motor Vehicle and one for Driver License, the Triage Team will provide general BOOST navigation and user support. Additionally, the team will provide technical issue triage, quickly addressing basic issues and answering questions about tablet pairing and basic access or setup questions.
Power Users are embedded across Service Oklahoma teams and will serve as an initial point of contact for employee questions and guidance during go-live. Power Users are dedicated to supporting their division and answering questions from teammates.
We’re grateful to both groups as they help ensure we’re prepared for a seamless launch.
Thank you to everyone involved in testing, training and system readiness. The progress we’re seeing is exciting, and it reflects the dedication and collaboration across teams as we prepare for go-live.
Let’s keep up the momentum!
