As we roll into the holiday season, here’s an easy item you can check off your list. While you’re getting things organized for tax time, we want to ensure you have everything you need right when you need it. This year, you can choose to receive your 2025 tax reporting documents (1095-C or 2025 W-2) electronically in Workday. You will get your tax forms sooner when you choose to receive them electronically. Whether you prefer paperless or paper, be sure to make your selection by Dec. 15. Follow the steps below to get started.
To elect electronic 1095-Cs:
- Navigate to the Worker Profile in Workday.
- Select Actions.
- Select Benefits.
- Select Change 1095-C Printing Election.
- Select Receive electronic copy of 1095-C.
- Click OK and Done.
To elect electronic W-2s:
- Navigate to the Worker Profile in Workday.
- Select Menu.
- Select Benefits and Pay.
- Select My Tax Documents.
- Select the Edit button under Printing Election.
- Select Receive electronic copy of my Year-End Tax Documents.
- Click OK and Done.
When you choose to go paperless only, you will receive an electronic copy of your 2025 Form 1095-C or your 2025 W-2 that can be downloaded and printed earlier than if you elect both paper and electronic. Once you select to receive an electronic-only copy, you do not need to make the selection again in the future.
If you’re unsure of your current delivery election, you can easily check this in Workday. To view your election, navigate to Benefits and Pay, select "My Tax Documents" at the top of the page, and click "Edit" to review your preference. To check your 1095-C election, go to your Worker Profile, select "Actions," then "Benefits," and choose "Change 1095-C Printing Election" to confirm your election.
