As the months get colder, the possibility of inclement weather increases. In fact, some weather may be coming into the state next week. Your safety and preparedness are our top priorities.
To ensure you’re informed of weather-related service reductions or closures, we strongly encourage all employees to sign up for weather closure email notifications from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS). These emails will serve as your primary source of information about inclement weather closures, and our agency follows them for our location closures.
How to Sign Up for Notifications
- Visit the DPS notifications page: https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/okdps/subscriber/new.
- If it’s your first time registering, create an account and password.
- After logging in, confirm “Statewide Weather Notifications” is selected.
- Choose to receive updates via email, then click Submit.
- You will receive notices of state service reductions and should watch for updates specific to your location’s county.
