We’re celebrating Service Oklahoma’s two-year anniversary as an independent state agency this month, and what an amazing two years it’s been. Together, we’ve grown stronger, served smarter and continued making government services easier for Oklahomans to navigate.
Our progress is the result of your commitment and teamwork. Thank you for everything you've done to make this another great year. Check out this short video featuring teammates from across the state sharing their anniversary messages as we celebrate two years of SOK.

Oklahomans Helping Oklahomans From launching new products and improving systems to helping customers get what they need when they need it, you showed what it means to serve with purpose. Thank you.
-
REAL ID: Thanks to your dedication, more than 2 million Oklahomans now have a REAL ID, helping us surpass a 50% compliance rate statewide. With expanded hours, Ready to Fly events and improved customer options, we’ve made it easier than ever for Oklahomans to get their REAL ID.
-
Electronic Liens and Titles: Aligning with national standards and improving convenience, our Motor Vehicle team rolled out digital titling. Electronic titles reduce paperwork, lower the risk of loss or theft and make transactions more efficient for customers and partners alike.
-
CDL Modernized Skills Test: A new standardized test now streamlines and strengthens the licensing process for commercial drivers. It provides a clearer, more consistent experience for applicants while reducing wait times and improving test quality.
-
Miles: Short for Motorist Information and Licensing Expert System, our Miles AI assistant now supports customers 24/7 across multiple websites, helping reduce call volume and improve service. We even earned the 2025 Government Experience Project Award from the Center for Digital Government for its ingenuity and pioneering spirit.
-
Online Written Test: The new online testing platform modernized Class D testing and improved record management. Customers can now take their written test online from anywhere at any time.
Coming Together as a Team This year you submitted more than 50 Employee of the Quarter nominations, shared over 170 High Fives and donated more than 500 pounds of food during our agency-wide food drive.
We celebrated milestones like our first-ever Annual Awards, hosted a month of fun during Employee Appreciation Month and launched Virtual Leadership Office Hours to connect directly across the agency. Together, we also doubled our State Charitable Campaign contributions, raising more than $10,000.
Our collective efforts were recognized nationally, earning four AAMVA Regional Awards and a GovX Award.
Looking Ahead Next year brings another major milestone: the launch of BOOST Presidents' Day Weekend February 2026. This new driver license and upgraded motor vehicle system will transform how we serve customers, empower our staff with better tools and bring our operations in line with the best in the industry. Thank you for helping prepare for this exciting step forward.
As we celebrate two years of innovation and teamwork, we’re reminded that Service Oklahoma succeeds because of you — the people who show up every single day with pride and purpose. Thank you for helping us build something truly special. Here’s to another year of serving Oklahomans together.
