“This is an exciting time for Project BOOST,” said Margie Ralston, Business and Integration Analyst. “So many things are going to be integrated into other systems so examiners don’t have to log into another system. This will save time for the examiner and the customer.”
Read on for what’s happening across the project and, as always, share your questions or ideas here.
Testing is in Full-Swing
The BOOST testing team has been hard at work validating every part of the new system to ensure a smooth launch. So far, testers have completed 84% of the 4,801 scenarios, covering everything from compliance to license issuance. This effort represents hundreds of hours of detailed review, balancing testing alongside daily responsibilities to keep operations running smoothly.
Thank you to all full and part-time testers for your continued commitment and attention to detail. Your work is critical to making sure we launch with confidence.
Training Underway
BOOST training is in progress across the state, with staff and partners completing online and hands-on learning. Training is designed to be practical, easy to follow and focused on helping everyone feel confident using the new system.
Over the next several months, employees, licensed operators and partners will move through training modules that build from the basics to more advanced, role-specific lessons. Each phase prepares users for the next and helps ensure a strong foundation ahead of go-live.
Key training dates:
-
Basics Training for beginners: Now – Nov. 28, 2025
-
Specifics Training with job specific training: Dec.1, 2025 – Jan. 9, 2026
-
Application Training for everyday users: Jan. 12 – Feb. 13, 2026
-
Operational Support for all users after go-live: Feb. 17 – Feb. 27, 2026
If you’re assigned to BOOST training, you should already have login instructions and details. If you need help or want extra support, a dedicated BOOST Support Team in Microsoft Teams has been created for each group. Post BOOST-related questions in your Teams channel and trainers from FAST and Service Oklahoma will respond directly.
For everyone else, thank you for supporting your teammates as they complete this important step. Your encouragement and flexibility help make this transition a success.
Data Verification and Conversion Continues
A dedicated team continues to compare and validate data between the current D360 system and BOOST. Service Oklahoma employees are working closely with FAST to ensure all information transfers accurately and is ready for go-live.
The data verification team is converting more than 5.5 million customer files. To date, they’ve identified 221 unique data anomalies affecting over 9 million rows of data, each one reviewed and resolved to ensure a seamless transition.
Gear Shifts
BOOST includes a series of Gear Shifts highlighting individual process, tool and service improvements that will roll out with the new system. Each one reflects real feedback and lessons learned from staff, customers and industry best practices.
Several major Gear Shifts have already been shared in previous BOOST Reports and newsletters. Take time to visit the BOOST Hub on the intranet to review these updates and stay familiar with what’s changing as you move through training.
Booster Club Updates
Booster Club Chairman Ed Ward continues traveling across the state to meet with driver license examiners and frontline staff, sharing updates on BOOST and answering questions about the new system.
Recent visits included Chickasha and Woodward, where Ed walked through transactions with examiners and demonstrated how BOOST will address common pain points experienced in D360.
“I’ve talked about the change coming with BOOST with several locations,” said Ed. “Many are looking forward to training and are encouraged by what they’ve seen so far.”
Ed also joined the Licensed Operator Annual Conferences held across the state in October, where he shared in the excitement of BOOST and answered questions from LOs eager to learn about the changes ahead.
