In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're asking you to pull out your favorite shades of pink on Friday, Oct. 17.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a global campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer, increase screenings and provide critical support for patients and survivors. Since 1989, increased awareness has helped reduce breast cancer deaths in the U.S. by 44%.
Did you know the pink ribbon has become the universal symbol of breast cancer? The symbol illustrates the cause, raises awareness and brings us together in solidarity. While the symbol has remained the same over the years, its pink shade has evolved to various hues representing unique cancer diagnoses and collective support. We're inviting everyone to wear work-appropriate pink attire on Friday, Oct. 17.
Let's come together to show our support for loved ones battling breast cancer.
