Halloween is almost here and we want to add some spook-tacular fun to the office!
On Friday, Oct. 31, all Service Oklahoma employees are invited to participate in SOK's Halloween costume contest. Whether entering as a team or solo, you are invited to show off your creativity by wearing work-appropriate Halloween costumes. Choose from classic Halloween favorites or surprise us with something completely unique.
We can’t wait to see how you get into the spooky spirit! The contest winner will receive a trophy. Please submit your photos to sokcommunications@service.ok.gov.
As always, please ensure your costumes follow the Service Oklahoma Dress Code policy, along with a few Halloween-specific guidelines listed below.
-
Appropriate Attire: Costumes should be tasteful and appropriate for a work environment. Please avoid costumes that are offensive, revealing or express political viewpoints.
-
Professionalism and Safety: While Halloween is a festive occasion, employees are expected to maintain professionalism. Employees wearing costumes must be able to perform all their job duties without distracting others or creating a safety hazard. Employees should be prepared to change into appropriate attire if needed or for external meetings.
-
Halloween Masks and Replica Weapons Prohibited: Employees may not wear Halloween masks or bring replica weapons as part of their costume. This does not include medical masks employees may choose to wear.
Happy Halloween. 🎃 We’re excited to see everyone’s creativity on display!
