Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2026 has begun!
All employees who are eligible for benefits have received a 2026 Benefits Enrollment task in Workday. The deadline to complete this Workday task, including the required attachments, is Friday, Oct. 31, 2025. Please take time to review the updated Health, Dental and optional Vision Plans, as well as the new Premium pricing as soon as possible to make your selections in Workday.
Read on to learn about your next steps, options to meet with our Human Resources Team and friendly reminders about the open enrollment period. As always, if you have questions, please reach out to HR at ServiceOK-HR@service.ok.gov.
Required Actions Even if you do not wish to make any changes to your plans, you are still required to re-enter your selections into Workday each year.
There are often plan changes that will impact overall cost, new or lost plans and certain benefits which do not rollover from one year to the next. It is for these reasons all employees are asked to actively re-enroll each option period, even if you are not making any changes.
Opting Out We highly recommend that employees who wish to opt out of all or some benefits do so no later than Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. There have been a few legislative changes to opting out of state benefits. It is important to get your documents into Workday early for Benefits to review and ensure you are still eligible to opt out.
Next Steps This year, along with your Benefits Elections task, employees will also receive a second task for identifying your Outstanding Wage Beneficiaries. This task notifies HR who you would like your beneficiaries to be for your final paycheck. Please note: HR will be verifying that all employees have this form in Workday.

- Vision insurance is an optional benefit. It has a “cover one, cover all” rule for dependents. The vision plans do not issue benefits cards.
- Employees requesting additional life insurance in Workday must also complete a Life Insurance Application. The life insurance application is only necessary for employees increasing their existing life insurance amount. The total amount of life insurance being requested should be listed, including the amount already in effect.
