Happy Friday, Service Oklahoma team!
Here’s your weekly press recap highlighting the news you need to know.
Electronic Titles This week, KOTV and FOX23 in Tulsa, along with KFOR in Oklahoma City, covered Oklahoma's switch to electronic titling that took effect on July 1.
The stories focused on the state's move to electronic titles following legislative mandates in 2021 and 2023 and let viewers know that current paper titles will remain valid and can still be used to sell or transfer ownership of a vehicle. When a new title is issued, such as after buying, selling or transferring ownership, it will be issued in an electronic format.
