Severe weather is expected across the state today. Please stay alert to changing conditions and take a moment to review our Severe Weather Preparedness Plan below.
Severe Weather Preparedness Plan If tornado sirens sound, safety comes first. Leave your belongings and head immediately to a designated shelter area on the lowest floor, away from windows. Safe spaces include basements, bathrooms, closets and central hallways. Customers should also be invited to shelter with you.
Office Preparations Each location should have a designated safe room—an interior space on the lowest floor without windows. At HQ, the basement is accessible through the stairwells. Elevators will stay operational, but please reserve them for those who need accessibility assistance.
Once in the shelter, stay there until the storm passes and sirens are no longer active. Ensure all employees and customers are accounted for. Once safely sheltered and conditions allow, text Facilities at (405) 246-5485 with the number of staff and customers present. This helps us verify the number of people at each location and provide emergency responders with accurate, timely information.
If you have any questions about severe weather procedures, reach out to your supervisor. Please stay safe today!
