The May 7 federal enforcement date has come and gone, and thanks to you, Oklahoma showed up strong. From extended hours and Saturday appointments to steady communication and support at every touchpoint, your teamwork made all the difference.

We saw an incredible push from staff across the state, and your dedication ensured thousands of Oklahomans got what they needed in time. Whether you worked the front lines, answered phones, managed appointments or kept operations running behind the scenes, thank you.

REAL ID Giveaway Winners
We’re excited to announce five randomly selected employees who worked during deadline week to support the after-hours events. Each will receive a $10 gift card as a small token of appreciation for their support:

REAL ID Overtime Heroes
A huge thank you to every employee who stepped up to meet increased demand this May by working after-hours and weekend shifts in support of REAL ID enforcement efforts. Even with the deadline behind us, your continued dedication has helped thousands of customers get prepared while keeping lines moving and spirits high.

We’re so grateful for your time, energy and commitment to best-in-class service.

REAL ID by the Numbers (as of May 19)

• 2,371,017 REAL ID-compliant credentials issued
• 1,594,451 active REAL ID-compliant credentials
• 3,478,596 total active credentials
• 45.84% statewide compliance rate

These numbers are still climbing—proof that your work continues to make a difference.

What’s Still Happening

• After-Hours Appointments: Saturday appointments continue through the end of May. REAL ID Mondays and Wednesdays are available through the end of the year at Chickasha, Hinton, Muskogee, OKC-Classen, Stillwater and The Farm in Tulsa.
• Seasonal Saturdays: Walk-in service is available every Saturday at Broken Arrow, I-240, OKC-Classen, Tulsa Eastgate and The Farm in Tulsa through October.
• REAL ID Checklist Reminder: We know some customers are still arriving to their visit without the correct documents. We’ll keep reminding customers to use the REAL ID checklist—it’s the best way to avoid delays or being unable to complete an application during their visit.
• Helpful Resources: TSA Guidance Cards and other materials are available on the REAL ID Hub on the intranet for quick reference.

Looking Ahead: Ready to Fly Events
We’re kicking off a new series of Ready to Fly events ahead of major travel periods like the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. These week-long events will offer extended after-hours appointments every weeknight and Saturday—giving Oklahomans who need to fly the chance to apply early and receive their REAL ID in time for takeoff. Events will be held at our after-hours locations: Chickasha, Hinton, Muskogee, OKC-Classen, Stillwater and The Farm in Tulsa. 

Our next Ready to Fly event will take place in June to help customers prepare for Fourth of July travel. More details coming soon.
