While we traditionally celebrate employee appreciation during the first week of May, this year we’re taking it even further. Starting May 5, we’re rolling out Employee Appreciation Month with a full calendar of activities and events.
The May 7 REAL ID deadline has been years in the making, and we know the demands on our team will be higher than ever in early May. From our REAL ID efforts to Project BOOST, the rollout of ELT, the opening of a new location and the countless efforts happening across the agency, the teamwork, commitment and drive at Service Oklahoma have been nothing short of extraordinary.
That’s why we’re extending our celebration all month long—to give you the recognition you deserve and the chance to pause, connect and celebrate the incredible impact you’re making.
From gift card drawings to our epic photo contest, there’s something for everyone. Employee Appreciation Month is all about celebrating the difference you make every day for our fellow Oklahomans.
Here’s what you can expect throughout the month:
- Treat bags, sweets and more
- Every Friday, wear your SOK Blue (SOK t-shirt or any work-appropriate blue attire)
- Annual picnic lunch at each location on Friday, May 16
- Team photo contest
- Prize drawings
