We’ve just wrapped the Definitions phase of Project BOOST—our next big milestone on the path to Bringing Our Operations and Services Together.
At its core, Project BOOST is about streamlining processes, unifying services and creating a smarter, more responsive experience for our team, our partners and the people we serve.
The Definitions phase gave us clarity and alignment on how BOOST will work. Together we:
- Mapped out key processes
- Aligned on shared terminology
- Defined BOOST reports and communication templates
- Built a common understanding of what the new system needs to do
It was full of detailed, thoughtful work—and it’s paid off.
Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:
- Nearly 3,000 tasks created since we started
- More than 1,900 test scenarios created
- 621 business verification items created, with 149 completed
- Over 100 letters and almost 100 reports drafted or updated
- 328 core business definitions identified
- Over 300 hours of meetings, demos and discussions
This progress wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our project team—especially our subject matter experts, FAST collaborators and everyone who offered feedback along the way. Whether you submitted input through surveys, watched demos or shared ideas with the Booster Club, your voice helped shape where we’re headed.
We’re proud of all that’s been accomplished, but don’t just take it from us. Here’s what team members are saying:
“The most exciting part of BOOST so far has been seeing how much simpler and more intuitive the new system will be for our staff.” – Kimberly Owen, Business Support Services Manager
“What excites me most about BOOST is its user-friendly design and more intuitive workflow. In our numerous meetings with FAST, we’ve worked together to create a system that’s significantly improved the overall experience for both staff and customers.” – Ed Ward, Road Test Compliance Manager
“I'm excited to see the changes made. It looks faster and more user friendly than our current system. Great job so far.” – Evelyn Blackwell, Bartlesville Driver License Examiner
“The most rewarding part of working on BOOST has been the collaboration of bringing everyone’s strengths together to create a platform that will help propel Service Oklahoma into the future.” – John Thompson, Field Audit Supervisor
With the closing of Definitions, we’ve cleared another milestone—and we’re not slowing down.
Now it’s time to celebrate. Watch the video to see the progress, the people and the energy behind it all.
Next up: Testing. We’ll be cross-checking what we’ve defined to ensure BOOST works the way we need it to before it ever goes live.
BOOST is building momentum, and each phase brings us closer to delivering the best possible experience for our fellow Oklahomans.
Thanks for being part of the journey!
