Severe weather is expected across the state today. Please stay alert to changing conditions and review our Severe Weather Preparedness Plan below to help keep everyone safe.
Severe Weather Preparedness Plan
If tornado sirens sound, your safety is the priority. Leave your belongings behind and go immediately to a designated shelter area on the lowest floor, away from windows. Safe spaces include basements, bathrooms, closets or central hallways. Customers should also be welcomed to shelter with you.
Office Preparations
Each office should have a designated safe room—an interior space on the lowest floor without windows. At HQ, the basement is accessible through the stairwells. Elevators will remain operational, but please reserve them for those who need accessibility assistance.
Once in the shelter, remain there until the storm has passed and sirens are no longer active. Ensure all employees and customers are accounted for during this time. When safely sheltered and conditions allow, please text (405) 246-5485 with the number of staff and customers present. This process helps ensure we can quickly verify the number of people at each location and provide emergency responders with accurate, detailed information if needed.
If you have any questions about severe weather procedures, please reach out to your supervisor. Stay safe!
