We’re thrilled to introduce KnowTo Drive, our new written knowledge exam and testing platform that will replace our legacy AutoTest system. This innovative platform will allow credential applicants to take the written knowledge exam online and has already been securely adopted by many states!
The launch of KnowTo Drive will take place in two phases:
- Phase 1: The online testing platform will go live on Feb. 11, 2025.
- Phase 2: New in-store testing stations will launch in early Q2.
To prepare for this rollout, we’ve provided an overview of KnowTo Drive and key training resources to ensure a smooth transition.
Key Features
-
Enhanced Security: KnowTo Drive offers advanced encryption, identity verification through photo and liveness checks, activity monitoring to prevent cheating and full compliance with industry regulations.
-
Customer Convenience: Customers will be able to take the written knowledge exam not only at Service Oklahoma locations, but anywhere that is convenient for them, including at home and at licensed operator locations that choose to participate. The platform offers instant results, study guides, certificates and ADA-compliant accessibility.
-
SOK Benefits: Reduced in-person traffic, centralized user profiles for accurate test tracking and easy tools for managing test fees and histories.
What You Need to Know
-
Test Score Transition: Test scores from AutoTest will remain valid for up to one year from the launch date of KnowTo Drive. During the transition, examiners issuing credentials will need to check both the AutoTest and KnowTo Drive systems to accurately assess a customer’s test history and track fail fees.
Training and Resources: To help you navigate these changes, we’ve created brief handouts outlining the process changes, as well as an in-depth Workday training session. This training is mandatory and must be completed before the official launch on Feb. 11, 2025.
This transition marks an important step in enhancing customer service, improving security, and streamlining processes for both our customers and employees. If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your supervisor for guidance.
