Service hours at all Service Oklahoma locations were impacted this week due to inclement weather. Below are instructions to help you submit your time in a reduction-of-services situation.
Please ensure your timesheet is submitted early on Monday, Jan. 13. We ask that you make every effort to submit your hours first thing Monday morning.
Administrative Leave Eligibility
Eligibility: Full-time Service Oklahoma employees scheduled to work in person at an affected location are eligible for administrative leave during the closure period
Exclusions: Employees already scheduled to telework are not eligible for administrative leave.
Time Reporting Guidelines
Here are the guidelines for employees eligible for administrative leave.
Impacted Sites: Enter “Administrative Leave” for the hours you were scheduled to work during the closure. Any remaining hours for the day should be entered as “Regular Hours.”
Delayed Openings: If your location had a delayed opening and you were unable to report to work due to poor road conditions, enter “Administrative Leave” for the hours before the opening. Use Comp Time (or Annual Leave if no Comp Time is available) for the remainder of the day.
Pre-Approved Leave: Employees already on paid leave when the closure occurred are not eligible for administrative leave. Similarly, if you called in prior to the inclement weather notification, this is treated as pre-approved leave for the full day. Employees calling in after the notification must use Annual Leave for the hours the location was open.
Note: When entering your time, be sure to select "Administrative Leave," as multiple options may be available.
Here are the guidelines for employees not eligible for administrative leave.
Teleworking Employees: Employees scheduled to telework should enter all hours worked as “Regular Hours.”
Remote Work at Impacted Sites: Employees working remotely during scheduled hours at an impacted site should also report their time as “Regular Hours.”
Overtime Reminder
For nonexempt employees, overtime pay at time-and-a-half applies only after 40 hours of actual work in a week.
