We are introducing the Service Oklahoma Employee Evaluation process to provide a structured framework for clear communication, aligned expectations and accountability for all employees across our agency.
This new structure is designed to facilitate meaningful conversations, goal-setting and professional development. The evaluation process will apply to all employees and take place over the course of the year, featuring three key stages aimed at fostering open and consistent communication between employees and managers.
Phase One: Beginning-of-Year
-
You will meet with your supervisor to outline expectations for the year ahead, review your job description and address any questions.
-
During this meeting, you will be asked to sign your job description to confirm you have reviewed it with your supervisor and understand the expectations for the year. Afterward, your supervisor will submit the signed job description to HR.
-
Your supervisor will conduct a quick, informal check-in to discuss progress and any challenges.
-
Your supervisor will create the Mid-Year Evaluation in Workday and you will receive a task in Workday to complete a self-evaluation.
-
You will meet with your supervisor again to receive a thorough status update, including an overall performance evaluation score. Your supervisor will input this score into Workday to complete the Mid-Year Employee Evaluation.
Phase Three: Year-End
-
You will receive a second self-evaluation task in Workday.
-
At the end of the year, your supervisor will conclude the process by providing your final performance scores and holding a one-on-one meeting with you to review the year’s achievements and opportunities for growth.
This process reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of transparency, engagement and continuous improvement. We are excited to partner with you on this journey and are here to support you every step of the way.
