Reflecting on a Remarkable Year
We’re so proud of the strides made this year. Your teamwork and dedication have driven success across Service Oklahoma, resulting in these key 2024 highlights:
Mason Treat Act (SB2035): This major legislative shift in vehicle registration introduced a required pre-registration process for all vehicles purchased in the state, reducing the time temporary paper tags remain on vehicles.
- Since September, over 114,000 vehicles have been pre-registered, improving public safety and system efficiency.
Iconic Oklahoma Plate Rollout: In September, we helped launch the new standard-issue license plate, the Iconic Oklahoma Plate.
- Issued 173,000 new plates, showcasing smooth coordination between the Supply team and licensed operators.
Customer Service Enhancements
- Served 500,000+ customers in person this year, with an average wait time of 38 minutes across 30+ locations.
- Administered 112,000+ written tests and maintained excellent reviews, with an average Google rating of 4.6 stars across our locations.
Call Center Excellence: Answered over 500,000 phone calls with an impressive 2-minute average wait time, reflecting the dedication and efficiency of our call center team.

Seasonal Saturdays: Opened 12 locations on Saturdays during peak months (March–September), serving 25–30% more citizens.

New or Relocated Locations
- We opened or relocated facilities in Antlers, Claremore and Chickasha, enhancing accessibility and aligning with brand standards.
- We're excited to announce a new facility in Stillwater and an additional location in Tulsa’s Farm Shopping Center coming in early 2025 to meet community demand and reduce wait times
Looking Ahead to More Success in 2025
As we look to 2025, we’re excited to continue building on current projects and launch new initiatives to better serve Oklahomans.

- BOOST will bring unified systems, faster transactions and enhanced stability for our staff, customers and partners.
Redesigned Driver License: The newly redesigned physical credential will feature enhanced security to prevent fraud and protect Oklahomans.
Modernized CDL Skills Test: Upcoming changes to CDL testing will create a more efficient process for examiners and test takers alike.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Updates: A dedicated team is updating over 100 critical frontline procedures, ensuring consistency and readiness for daily operations and Project BOOST’s rollout.
Electronic Liens and Titles: Launching in February 2025, this system will streamline processes for dealers, financial institutions and citizens while improving fraud prevention.
AI Chatbot: Powered by AWS, this new tool will provide instant answers to common questions on our website, aiming to reduce call volumes and improve self-service options.
