Notice to Dispensaries Regarding "Test Failed" Products in Their Metrc Inventory

Overnight, approximately 19,000 samples tested by Greenleaf Labs were changed from “test passed” to “test failed” status in Metrc due to erroneous Total Yeast and Mold testing.

Action Needed: As OMMA conducts package tracing to institute a formal embargo and recall, dispensaries will notice packages changed to test failed status in their inventory and can get a head start by removing those products from their inventory now.

Communicating the information we have as soon as we have it is OMMA’s first priority at this time.
If you are a business that has lab samples in submitted status or testing in progress at Greenleaf, you may create a new sample and send it to a different lab for testing. When the testing is complete, open a ticket with Metrc. Metrc will be in contact with OMMA to update the testing status.
For products that are in test failed status for microbials at Greenleaf, you are allowed to retest per OMMA Rules.
