OCCT Computer-Based Performance Level Lookup Tables

Dear District Test Coordinator,

The state’s online testing program is designed to provide instant feedback to students at the end of their test in the form of an immediate Raw Score (the number of test items correct) and Performance Levels for the following End-of-Instruction (EOI) exams and Grade 6-8 Reading & Math OCCTs:

  • Algebra I/II
  • Geometry
  • Biology
  • Grades 6-8 Math/Reading (this is the first year pre-equated cut scores have been made available)

The following tests will only include an immediate Raw Score:

  • English II/III (Final Raw Score & Performance level provided in 2-week reports)
  •  U.S. History (Performance Levels provided in 2-week reports)
  • Grade 7 Geography (Performance Levels provided after standard setting in July 2015)

Please note: final English II and III EOI scores are based on the multiple-choice and writing components.  A student’s Raw Score and Performance Level may change with the addition of the writing score.  Writing scores are provided in the 2-Week Summary Reports.  In addition, the Spring 2015 U.S. History EOI will be post-equated and performance levels will also be available on the 2-Week Summary Reports located in the OCCT Portal on June 1, 2015.

The Lookup Tables provided through the link below may be referenced to obtain raw score ranges for each performance level for most computer-based tests:
