Dear friends:
I was just sworn in a few hours ago as Oklahoma's 14th State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and I couldn't be more excited about this opportunity to work with you and other education professionals across our state.
I know the last four years have been challenging, but help is on the way. Today represents a new day for public education in Oklahoma, and together we will overcome the challenges of the past.
Thank you so much for your commitment to public education. I respect and admire your service, and I will be here working every day to ensure you have all the resources and support you need.
