SDE – Wave October 1 Consolidated Report Reminder

This is a reminder the Wave October 1 Consolidated Report is open on the Wave Web site and is due October 15, 2013.  The report is located under the “Reporting” tab on the Wave.  Go to “State Reporting Certification” and then click “October 1 Consolidated Report.”

This report is used to populate the student counts on the Accreditation Report, the Gifted Talented Report, and the LEP/Immigrant Survey.  It is important not to delay in completing the Wave October 1 Consolidated Report as some data clean-up will be necessary ahead of the October 15th due date.  As of today, there are currently at least 244 school districts with at least one issue that needs to be resolved before the report can be considered complete.  Each issue represents a student that will not be reported on the Accreditation Report until the issue is resolved.  Compare your counts locally with what is found on the Wave October 1 Consolidated Report and on the Accreditation Report and use the “Find Missing Students” section of the Wave October 1 Consolidated Report to find any students who are missing from the counts.

Access – Superintendents, Site Principals, and Wave District Administrators automatically have access to the Wave October 1 Consolidated Report.  All other users will need the “October 1 Consolidated Report Access” role granted to them by their District Superintendent or District Single Sign-On Logon Administrator.

Completing the Report – You will have until October 15, 2013, to complete the report.  The report is pre-populated from data that comes directly from your local student information system.  As you view the report on the Wave, if data is found to be inaccurate, it can only be corrected in your local system.  The following morning it will be updated on the report.
