Who: My'Kah Knowlin, a 12-year-old-student from Nebraska, several of her friends from across the country and their parents, any child from Moore affected by May tornadoes and storms, State Superintendent Janet Barresi. 

What: My'Kah has been collecting school supplies, Beanie Babies, snacks and other items for the children of Moore throughout the summer. She will be driving with her mom and some other students from across the country to Moore on Friday, August 2. She would like to meet with as many children as possible who were effected by the recent storms to give them her supplies. She also will be donating additional supplies for teachers who have requested items through the State Department of Education's Project Meet the Need initiative.

When: 3 to 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2

Where: Buck Thomas Park, under the large pavilion, 1901 NE 12th Street, Moore, Oklahoma
